E s the title of my recent discovery of a diamond and makes few years saw the light but surely amaze many.
E s the name Gustavo Sainz gave his book that he wrote back in the seventies (1977) and thanks to booksellers (Between the band fucking blessed and reading) unearthed.
E n a fit of anxiety I read almost instantly while savoring every paragraph - something difficult for a book of over three hundred pages, and is that something provoked in me. It is difficult to explain exactly, but I think that standards of literary criticism was a little more emotional than theoretical.
C ompadre Lobo is a difficult novel digestion denotes the way the language appropriate for any reader, his narrative is highly complex. And is that the pace of the novel jumps from a common language use among the youth of the neighborhood (which still exists) to the beautiful metaphors, allusions to metaphysical poetry and for presentations. This is where I think lies the significance of this work, shows a mosaic where the pieces come together a rainbow which fit many characters that intertwine with each other, as are the black and white, the artist and the teporocho, the blue and red; the prostitute and the daughter of an ambassador. All narrated in a language in which it also skill, academisismo, metaphors, poetry and a common language, not vulgar.
C CCOUNT the parallel story of a writer and a painter, main characters who revolve around Carmen Teresa Amparo Yolanda, a girl who spends her life (which gives the novel) between the two: as friend, wife, lover, confidant and spiritual guide. Recounts his journey from youth development around alcochol the night, prostitutes, cinema, the neighborhood ... Urbanity itself.
S egun have this novel is framed within what is known as Literature of the wave, one that gave great Writers: Parmenides José Agustín García Saldaña and others and was characterized by the true picture that made the environment in which young people lived in the late sixties and seventies part: his life, families, entretnimientos, music , dances, girlfriends, etc., having regard to, or rather told in what I call the counter José Agustín in Mexico. No officer, simply awesome in the world would say those who know.
A lthough buddy Lobo "can be an easy digestion novel contains elements that require more aprhensión as it travels in a relidad ambivalent which invites the reader to enter and to be complicit and part of the adventures of young people in their development towards maturity is found with the adult, and the socially established acceptable.
